Couple hurt in house fire

A couple was reported to have received injuries after their house, located in Khuda Ki Basti, caught fire on Thursday.
Twenty-six-year-old Nasreen and her husband Ismail, 35, got injured after the stove she was trying to light exploded, apparently due to a leakage in the gas pipeline.
They were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
Body found
Body of an unidentified man was found floating in the sea, within the jurisdiction of the Boat Basin police station.
According to the medico-legal officer of the JPMC,
the deceased had drowned and his body was at least two days old.
