Tributes are still pouring in for Catherine O’Hara months after her death.

On January 30, 2026, the Home Alone-famed star passed away at the age of 71 due to a pulmonary embolism, as per her death certificate.

Among several celebrities, Seth Rogan also paid homage to his late The Studio co-star at the Actors Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on March 1.

O’Hara won a posthumous award in the category of Best Female Actor in a comedy series for her performance as Patty Leigh in the Apple TV satirical cringe comedy television series, The Studio.

Leigh, a fictional producer in the series, exposes Hollywood’s bleak reality through humour and mentored Matt Remick, played by Rogen.

While accepting the accolade on behalf of O’Hara, the 43-year-old Canadian actor and comedian said, "I was asked to assume the very sad honor of accepting this award on O'Hara's behalf.”

"I know she would have been honored to receive this award from her fellow performers, who I know she respected so much. She was such a big fan of all of yours,’ he stated.

Rogen went on to call him “fortunate” because he had the privilege to spend time with O’Hara on the set of The Studio.

“And something that I've just been marveling at over the last few weeks was really her ability to be generous and kind and gracious while never, ever minimizing her own talents and her own ability to contribute to the work that we were doing. She knew she could destroy and she wanted to destroy every day on set,” the Good Fortune star gushed, explaining her greatness.

It is important to mention that Rogen wore his heart on his sleeve as he concluded his speech, motivating people to promote O’Hara’s work.
