An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday sentenced a Lyari gangster to 32 years in jail for possession of illegal weapons and explosive material.
The convict, Sikandar Lasi, had been arrested within the Napier police limits.
The anti-terrorism court, after going over the evidence and charges against him, found the accused guilty and sentenced him to 32 years in prison.
Lyari has been in the grip of heinous crimes, and clashes between rival gangs are common and often result in casualties.
