Amnesty Bill financial terrorism: Qadri
LAHORE: The approval of the Amnesty Bill by the National Assembly is a clear sign that the rulers have given a legal cover to financial terrorism.
This was stated by Dr Tahirul Qadri, Chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, while addressing the Central Executive Committee of the party here on Friday via video link from Canada.
The PAT chief said that the Takht-e-Lahore style rule was ruining the country and the assembly had proved to be a graveyard of elected representatives. He also criticised the making of PIA into a company and said the rulers had had put all national institutions on sale and the time was not far when they would sell each and every institution of the country. He said the rulers had promised to make all the state institutions viable and profitable.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said that first bargain pleas were made by the National Accountability Bureau but now the National Assembly had approved a “Black Law’ by which all having black money would easily legitimise it.
