Dr Jahangir completes 3,000 laparoscopic surgeries

Prof. Dr. Jahangir Sarwar has successfully completed 3,000 laparoscopic surgeries of gall bladder stones, says a press release.
Dr Jahangir has also presented his research paper on three thousand cases of surgery of gall bladder stones with this new technique (camera guided operation) in an international conference recently. This technique leaves the patient operated for gall bladder stones without having a cut on the body, with the help of the camera. In this technique patient also recovers quickly and does not need to remain admitted in hospital for post-operation treatment. This new technique is a useful addition in the medical facilities in country.
Prof Dr. Jahangir Sarwar is working as Professor of Surgery at Holy Family Hospital and Rawalpindi Medical College as well. He is fellow of College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow and American College of Surgeons. He is the author of more than 50 research papers on different topics of surgery. More than 20 surgeons are undergoing training under his supervision.
