LONDON: Former mayor of Karachi and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s senior leader Syed Mustafa Kamal is in Dubai and working with Malik Riaz’s Bahria Town, it is learnt.He will supervise a Bahria Town project, if approved by the Dubai government. He will then stay put in Dubai.
There are also unconfirmed reports that he has developed differences with the party. However, when Geo News correspondent in Washington Wajid Ali Syed asked former ports and shipping minister Babar Ghauri on Sunday about Mustafa Kamal and his absence from the party scene, he replied that the reports of Mustafa Kamal’s “differences with the party were untrue”.Ghauri said that he was in touch with the former Karachi mayor through “email and telephone”.
