22,000 litre adulterated milk destroyed

LAHORE:Punjab Food Authority (PFA) destroyed 22,000 litres of adulterated milk here on Thursday. Officials said a major operation was carried out against the sellers of adulterated milk under the leadership of DG Food Authority Rafaqat Ali Niswana. They said a milk supply dairy shop was raided and 22,000 liters of adulterated milk was destroyed while 5 chillers were seized. Officials said a case was registered at Kot Noor Shah Ferozwala Police Station for preparing fake milk by mixing chemicals and powder in large mixer machines. Officials said the checking was done with the help of a modern lacto scan machine.
