MULTAN: The Lahore High Court Multan Bench on Tuesday ordered police officials to keep sanctity of honorable courts and expressed displeasure over quoting judges name in FIRs, police Roznamchas and record, court sources said.
Judge Mr Justice Ali Zia Bajwa while proceeding cases in the court expressed aversion over writing judges names in police documents. He warned police to only quote name of honorable courts instead of judges’ names.
The apex court ruled that in cases registered on court orders, only the name of relevant court should be mentioned in the future while the name of any judge of the apex court should not be mentioned.
On this occasion, RPO Multan assured the apex court of compliance with court order in future. The court had taken notice of the matter while proceeding four different cases.
