Four killed in separate incidents

Four people were killed in separate incidents during the Eid holidays. A man was wounded after some unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at his car in Orangi Town on Tuesday. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. He was identified as 40-year-old Sultan Ahmed, son of Qaim Khan.

Police said the man was in the construction business; however, the actual motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained Separately, a man was shot dead in Khamiso Goth. The body was taken to the ASH for an autopsy where he was identified as 20-year-old zubair, son of Khalid.

The New Karachi Industrial Area police said the man was killed during a clash with another man near his residence. The suspect was arrested by the police. In another incident, a teenage girl was killed at her house in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy where she was identified as Samina, daughter of Badshah Khan.

The family of the deceased girl, in their initial statement, told the Aziz Bhatti police that the girl was at the rooftop of her house when a stray bullet hit and killed her; however, the family later told the police that she had committed suicide over unexplained reasons. The police were investigating the case from different angles.
