Six of a family die in Lahore roof collapse

LAHORE: As many as six persons of a family died due to suffocation as the roof of their house fell down in the Shadbagh police limits on Thursday night.
The police removed bodies and sent them to morgue for autopsy. The incident occurred near Imam Ghazali Park in Wassanpura. Police said the family had placed building material at the roof to construct second floor of the house. Resultantly, the roof caved in all of sudden. As a result, six persons including two children were trapped under the debris. Rescue 1122 responded to the emergency, recovered the victims.
