LAHORE: Punjab senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken a bold and unequivocal stance on Afghanistan issue.
In his tweet, he added that this step has not only enhanced pride and privilege of Pakistani nation but also being appreciated at national and international level. The minister said that there was no doubt that the establishment of peace in Afghanistan would bring prosperity to Pakistan and improve the situation in the region as well. He said that positive efforts were being made under the leadership of Imran Khan to resolve the Afghan issue but it was now crystal clear that Pakistan would not be a part of anyone else's war anymore.
Aleem Khan said that in the last four decades, Pakistan suffered heavy loss of life and property due to war in Afghanistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan's stance on Afghan war is based on ground realities, he added. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Imran Khan has continued his mission to move the country and the nation forward in a dignified manner for which he has reiterated it in every international forum from the United Nations to any other platform. The minister said India has once again faced defeat while due to the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan has gained an important position in the region.
