RAWALPINDI: The Harmony Cricket League in collaboration with Zalmi Foundation, federal government and Punjab government kicked off here, says a press release.
Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Bhatti inaugurated the tournament while Senator Anwar Lal, Cardinal Joseph Cutts, Bishop Samuel Azria, Christopher Sheriff (Country Coordinator Church Cricket Chapter), Dr Cedric (Chief Innovation Officer Zalmi Foundation) and General Secretary Endowment Welfare Association Mian Abdul Qadir Skandi were also present on the occasion.
The league was being played at the St Mary’s Academy Ground, Rawalpindi.
In the matches played, Salvation Army defeated Fatima Disciples, Fatima Disciples beat St Stephen Titaniums and Salvation Army downed St Stephen Titaniums.
The two top teams will face each other in the final on July 12.
