Al-Noor Gymkhana enter final round

KARACHI: Al-Noor Gymkhana cruised into the final round of All-Sindh Prof. Ejaz Ahmed Faruqi Invitation Cricket Tournament after beating Faisal Gymkhana by eight wickets in the last match of the knock-out phase at TMC Ground.
Faisal Gymkhana batted first and scored 148 before the team was bundled out in 39.1 overs. Imran Shah batted well for the side scoring 87 runs. Adnan Shah, Zia-ul-Haq and Adil Ali put a concerted effort picking three wickets each.
In response, Al-Noor Gymkhana scored 153-2 in 33.2 overs. Hafiz Asad batted well for the side scoring unbeaten 69 runs.
After the end of the 152 knock-out matches, 16 clubs have qualified for the final round, which will be played on league basis.
