Computer stolen from New Karachi SP’s office
A personal computer of a policeman has been stolen from the office of New Karachi’s Superintendent of Police Aijazuddin.
“The head constable deputed at the SP New Karachi office was deprived of his computer,” confirmed New Karachi SHO Nadeem Baig. “That was head constable’s personal computer, not an official computer,” he said, adding that a case had been registered.
Earlier, there were some unconfirmed reports that the robbery incident took place at the office of SP Aijazuddin, and apparently the office staff could be behind the incident as the computer with important data of criminals had been stolen without breaking the locks. CCTV camera footage was also said to be out of order.
SP Aijazuddin, when contacted, denied any robbery incident, saying no official valuable had been stolen.
