LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather continued to prevail in the City here Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that continental air was prevailing over most parts while weak moist currents from Arabian Sea were also penetrating central parts of the country. They predicted that hot weather was likely to prevail in most parts of the country while very hot in plain areas. However, rain, thunderstorm were expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall was observed in Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, Rohri, Jacobabad, RY Khan, Narowal, Barkhan and Skardu. Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 46°C while in Lahore, it was 39.5°C and minimum was 24.4°C.
