Drive against drug addiction

LAHORE : A campaign against drug menace is underway across Punjab along with civil society organisations to make Pakistan free from drug addiction.

This was stated by Chaudhry Ramazan Pervaiz, chairman, Punjab Narcotics Control Committee, during a meeting with Babar Sulehri, central president of Youth Assembly for Human Rights. Chaudhry Ramazan Pervaiz said, “Drug-free Pakistan is our commitment.”

Babar Sulehri said, “We started the campaign across the province on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking , 2021.” The campaign aims to mobilise the younger generation against the scourge of drugs and to take steps to eradicate drug addiction, he said.
