HU syndicate approves Rs1.33b budget
MANSEHRA: The syndicate of the Hazara University approved Rs1.33 billion budget for the financial year 2021/22.
A press release issued by the HU on Friday said that the 16th session of the syndicate was held with Governor Shah Farman in the chair.
The meeting unanimously approved the income and expenditures for the next fiscal year.
“This time we have presented and approved Rs1.33 billion budget but we expect that the volume of budget to be presented for the financial year 2022/23 would be enhanced to Rs4 billion following increase in its revenue,” the press release quoted the Vice-Chancellor Dr Jamil Ahmad as saying.
It further said that the university planned to introduce such a mechanism, which increases its annual revenue after adopting the solid ground.
According to the press release the chancellor lauded the efforts put in place by the administration to cut varsity annual expenditures.
