Two drug peddlers held

JARANWALA: Lundianwala police Monday arrested two alleged drug peddlers, including a woman on Monday. The police arrested accused Saima and her accomplice Daulat Khan and recovered 4,100 gram charas, 100 gram heroin, a 222-bore rifle and Rs 375,000 from their possession. A case has been registered against the accused.

Man kills wife: A lady constable was shot dead by her husband over a domestic dispute in Nawaz Colony on Monday. Reportedly, Samina Kauser and her husband Naeem exchanged harsh words over a domestic issue that was a bone of contention between them for several weeks, and he shot her dead.
