Seven injured in separate incidents

KARACHI: Seven people were injured in different parts of Karachi on Sunday, with four of them suffering gunshot wounds and three others being stabbed, according to the police.
An Aziz Bhatti police official said Sheharyar Asif Jamil, 16, and Sameerullah Asadullah, 20, were standing outside their house in Gulshan-e-Iqbal when two men on a motorbike tried to rob them of their mobile phones. The official said they were shot over resisting the attempt to mug them, adding that they were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
