ISLAMABAD: PMLN Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal Saturday said laws are being changed to give NRO to the PTI leader Faisal Vawda.
Talking in Geo News programme ‘Naya Pakistan’, Ahsan Iqbal said Faisal Vawda did not mention his foreign nationality while filing nomination papers for contesting the National Assembly papers. He said the eligibility of Vawda was in question under Articles 62, 63 as he had not relinquished foreign nationality by the time of filing nomination papers.
He said the government was trying to change the country’s laws with retrospective effect just to give NRO to an individual.
