World Teqball Federation donates 50 tables to Pakistan
KARACHI: The World Teqball Federation has donated 50 tables to Pakistan to promote this sport in the country.
This was disclosed by Pakistan Teqball Federation at a ceremony at Alpha College here on Saturday.
Mian Absar Ali said that these tables would be installed in divisional headquarters of the federation across the country.
"We are inaugurating the first court in the country on July 1 in Islamabad," said Absar while talking to 'The News'.
He added that their federation has got affiliation from Asian Teqball Federation and soon they would be recognised by International Olympic Committee.
He said this game is a mixture of table tennis and football and is among the fast growing sports in the world.
"Hungary's embassy in Islamabad is supporting us and sponsoring this sport in Pakistan," said Absar.
