LAHORE:The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party has approved seven development schemes at an estimated cost of Rs12.423 billion.
These schemes were approved in the 41st PDWP meeting presided over by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal. The schemes included as dualisation of road from Khurrianwala to Sahinwala Interchange, Faisalabad (Revised) at the cost of Rs706.683 million, dualisation of Lahore-Jaranwala-Faisalabad-Jhang-Bhakkar Road, (Revised) at the cost of Rs603.846 million, widening of Sargodha-Gujrat Road (section Jhal Chakkian to Bhalwal), (Revised) at the cost of Rs691.063m, improvement of road from Tibbi Morr, MM Road to Chor Wala Morr, Sargodha Road via Village Chor Wala (Phase-I), District Mianwali (Revised) at the cost of Rs465.286m, widening of road from Buchal Kalan to Lilla (Phase-II), Chakwal (Revised) at the cost of Rs476.961 million, Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project (WB Assisted) (Revised) at the cost of Rs8,525.000 million and construction of Rohtas Fort Bypass Road District Jhelum at the cost of Rs955.018 million.
