PESHAWAR: All public and private educational institutions across the province, i.e. primary, middle, high and higher secondary, have been re-opened today (Thursday) with strict directives to follow the already notified standard operating procedures (SOPs) against coronavirus.
The school times for the summer zones in the province would be from 7am to 10am, while the winter zones would follow the routine school timings, according to a notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department.
The notification stated that the students of grade 9 to 12 would be taught the subjects in which they would appear in the examination.
The prolonged wave of coronavirus pandemic has badly affected educational activities. Now that the heatwave is in full swing, regular studies cannot be arranged. However, the reopening of the educational institutions would somehow lead to bring educational activities back on track.
