Pakistan has 22.8 million out-of-school children. In Sindh, three million children are deprived of quality education. It is the province which also has a low rate of school enrollment. Abject poverty is the main reason that compel parents to take their children out of schools. A majority of parents prefer to send their children to earn money.
The government should take notice of this problem. Children are the future of our country. Our authorities must take proper steps to ensure that they have access to high-quality education.
