It was good to learn that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to start the ‘Sadpara Air Safari’ from Islamabad to Skardu. The flight will allow passengers to witness the beauty of the majestic peaks of K2, Gasherbrum and Nanga Parbat. This is a great way to pay tribute to our great hero Ali Sadpara who was a phenomenal mountaineer and who lost his life recently.
Ali attempted to climb K2 in harsh winter and went missing. Ali Sadpara belonged to the Sadpara village whose residents are hardworking people who offer various services to mountain climbers. They also help the authorities in several rescue operations. PIA has taken a great step to keep the memories of our national hero alive. This step will also help the government promote tourism in the area.
