Indifferent leaders

This refers to the letter ‘Highway to death?’ (June 8) by Zulfiqar Ali Soomro. It is disappointing to witness the indifferent and unkind attitude of the authorities concerned towards people.

However, it is also true that despite their failures and their unsatisfactory performance, political leaders usually don’t lose their popularity in their constituencies and are often voted into power again. We reap what we sow.
