Won’t accept a minute’s delay in AJK polls: Farooq
BALOUCH, AJK: Azad Jammu & Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that people will not accept the delay in elections even for a minute.
“Elections are vital to save the integrity of the state. Any attempt of rigging will be dealt with sternly,” he warned.
The AJK leader said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was like Ganga and Yaumna rivers, and those who take bath in it consider themselves as purest.
Raja Farooq said the AJK Legislative Assembly was an independent institution. He alleged that the PTI chairman was hatching a conspiracy against the elections. He said Allah Almighty and the power of people were with them. He said the Kashmiris were the heirs of martyrs and they would foil any attempt to sabotage the upcoming elections.
During his visit to Palandari, the AJK PM inaugurated many uplift projects. He said that after coming to power, the PTI had failed to address the problems of common man.
