UK delegates briefed on pollution control

LAHORE:UK’s provincial representative to Punjab Alex Bellinger along with UK development adviser to Punjab Ms Sana Zia met Minister Environment Protection Department (EPD) Rizwan in committee room of EPD here on Tuesday. Alex told the minister that he represents the British High Commission in Punjab, focusing on UK-Punjab bilateral relations, development and investment and trade promotion.

Ms Sana Zia told the minister that she was working closely with the Punjab government to achieve shared goals on health, education, governance, climate and other development priorities. The minister briefed them on measures taken by government to control pollution and smog.
