Qatar CG, Ebad discuss bilateral ties

The Consul General of Qatar Saad Bin Abdulla Al-Mahmoud Al-Shareef called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at the latter's official residence on Tuesday and matters of bilateral interest on trade and commerce were discussed in their meeting.
The Sindh governor, in reference to the recently signed $16 billion LNG deal, appreciated the Qatari investment in the energy sector projects in Pakistan, saying that the cordial relations between the two countries should be reinvigorated to an optimum level.
Speaking on the occasion, the consul general expressed his hope that friendly ties between the two countries would grow further with the passage of time and said that a number of Qataris were interested in investing in Pakistan.
