Training course on agriculture sector

ISLAMABAD: The National Productivity Organization (NPO) would hold a three day elearning training program on Non Chemical Pest Management in Agriculture from December 7 to 9. The course would be held at Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan.
The NPO which is an attached department of Federal Ministry of Industries is holding the training program in collaboration with Asian Productivity Organization (APO Japan) and Entomology Department Bahauddin Zakariya University.
The objective of this training course is adoption of non chemical methods to control pests during farming to promote environment and socio friendly food production to enhance sustainable food security. The course techniques include biological control, natural chemical control and genetic control.
