Three killed, about 41 injured in
Faisalabad fog related incidents

FAISALABAD: Three people were killed and about 41 others injured in different road accidents due to heavy fog here on Tuesday.
In the first incident, Rahim Haider and Naeem Ajmal of Chak 237/RB, Khudian Warraichan, were killed while their friend Bilawal Nawaz was critically injured when a trailer hit their motorcycle near Roshanwali Jhal Bypass on Dijkot Road. In the second incident, a dumper dashed into a motorcycle near Darbar Bus Stop on Chiniot Road. As a result, milkman Mujahid Jan of Chak 107/JB was killed on the spot.
In the third incident, over 12 passengers were injured when a bus turned turtle near Tandlianwala. In the fourth incident, about 16 persons were injured in a collision among four buses on Jhang Road. In the fourth incident, 12 mill workers were injured when their bus struck against a road barrier.
MAN, SON CONVICTED FOR MURDER: Additional Sessions Judge Malik Ali Raza Awan awarded life imprisonment to Gulzar Ahmad and his son Irfan Ahmad, residents of Chak 591/GB, in a murder case.
According to the prosecution, the convicts had gunned down their relative over a minor dispute about 18 months ago.
Sack-packed body of woman found

FAISALABAD: A sack-packed body of a woman was found from a canal at Chak 619/GB.
According to police, there were torture marks on the body. The body has been shifted to the Allied Hospital for autopsy.
