National Book Foundation (NBF) Book Park would be launched here tomorrow (December 2).
Renowned poet, scholar and columnist Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi will be the chief guest on this occasion.
While Dr. Qasim Bughio and Dr. Fouzia Saeed would be the guests of honour.
Book reading once used to be a favourite pastime. People took great pleasure in reading and discussing books. Unfortunately, this golden tradition is now dying. To address this problem NBF has taken initiative to launch a series of innovative projects including Book Park to promote book reading culture in the country.
The NBF on its premises has created a much relaxing atmosphere and an ambiance that compels people to explore the world of books displayed artistically at Club Book Shop, National Book Museum and Mobile Book Club.
