Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold a national conference soon for developing media-academia collaboration to promote community based research study and introduce new innovations in social sector that relevant to society s overall development.
This was announced here by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui while addressing a get to gather of University’s academic staff department of Social Sciences, said spokesman of the University on Sunday. The theme of the conference will be Media in post modern time he added. It will be first ever media conference being organised at the University’s level for addressing community related problems through joint efforts.
