19 shops, 8 houses gutted in Shangla blaze

BISHAM: At least 19 shops and eight houses were gutted when fire erupted in a market in Behlolkhel area in Shangla district, official said on Saturday.
They said that the fire erupted due to short-circuiting in a shop engulfed the whole market in a jiffy, reducing valuables worth million of rupees to ashes.
They said that 19 shops and eight houses were damaged in the inferno. However, the fire caused no casualty.
They said that the local people extinguished the fire after hectic efforts as there was no fire brigade service in the area.
