Ceremony held in honour of Sahar Ansari and Qadar Bakhsh

A grand reception was held recently in honour of Professor Sahar Ansari for receiving ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ and Qadar Bakhsh Soomro for becoming resident editor of the Academy Adbiat Pakistan (Sindh chapter).
The ceremony was jointly hosted by Dabistan-e-Ghazal and Idara-e-Fikre Nau at the residence of scientist and poet Zafar Muhammad Khan Zafar in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Poet and researcher Professor Dr Hasan Wqar Gul presided over the ceremony, while Professor Izhar Haidri was the chief guest and Qadir Bakhsh Soomro was the guest of honour. Later, a Mehfil-e-Mushairah was also held. Presided over by Professor Sahar Ansari, it was participated in by a number of prominent poets.
