Four killed in Karak gas explosion

KARAK: A woman and her three children were killed in an explosion caused by accumulation of gas in a room of a house in the Kundi area of Banda Daud Shah Tehsil here on Friday. The local people said that gas had accumulated in the room due to a faulty heater. There was an explosion when the inmates tried to light the heater. The 30-year-old wife of Faqir Gul, along with her three children identified as Sajjad Ahmad, 4, Sudais, 3, and oneyear old Saeed, was killed after being trapped in the debris. The locals retrieved the bodies after hectic efforts.
