Peshawar jams

Traffic jams have become a common sight in Peshawar. The traffic has become so congested in the city’s main thoroughfares that it often takes hours to reach one’s destination when it would otherwise have taken minutes. Army check posts at various places in the city also lead to long queues of vehicles.
The PTI government has taken certain measures to address this issue but it has had very little effect on traffic jams. There is a need to look into new solutions, such as the construction of various link roads. The relevant authorities are requested to take note of the problem and provide a solution urgently.
