Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested 19 criminals besides reuniting four children with their families.
Punjab Highway Patrol arrested 19 criminals and recovered five rifles, four pistols, 159 bullets, 46 cartridges and a stolen buffalo worth Rs125,000. The PHP team also reunited four children with their families.
notice: The IGP has taken notice of an incident in which an ASI Azim Akhtar posted at Defence A police station committed suicide.
He directed the CCPO Lahore to look into the matter and submit a report in this regard. He directed to give the financial assistance to the officer’s family. The ASI reportedly ended his life over the abominable attitude of his seniors.
Security: DIG Operations Lahore has said that the Lahore police will successfully provide security for peaceful conduct of local government elections and Muharram.
Addressing a meeting in connection with local government elections and Muharram held at Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh on Sunday, he directed the police officers to brief the force performing duty at entry and exit points of the city about various threats.
He directed the police to take stern action against persons involved in aerial firing, display of arms, and graffiti. He directed to intensify the security at Data Darbar and Bibi Pak Daman. He directed the police to round up proclaimed offenders in each union council.
