Dr Saqib Riaz nominated member PTV Censor Board

Islamabad: Eminent scholar, writer and intellectual Dr. Saqib Riaz has been nominated as member Censor Board of the Pakistan Television (PTV), says a press release.
Dr. Saqib Riaz is associated with the Mass Communication Department of Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad as Associate Professor in grade 20. Dr. Saqib has been associated with Indiana University Bloomington USA where he completed his post doctoral studies. He also got higher education in journalism and media studies from the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Berlin Germany. He is a graduate of Punjab University, Lahore where he completed his Masters in Mass Communication.
He completed his M.Phil and PhD theses under the supervision of late Dr. Miskeen Ali Hijazi. Dr. Saqib has the honor to deliver lectures in some prominent universities in America and Germany. He has also the honor to address several national and international conferences and seminars. Dr. Saqib Riaz is author of three books on journalism and more than three dozen research articles published in national and international research journals. He served couple of Urdu newspapers as magazine editor before joining the academic profession.
