KARACHI: The Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) has invested approximately $3.359 million in Pakistan since the launch of its "Seeing is Believing" initiatives in 2004 to help eliminate avoidable blindness, a statement issued by the bank said on Friday.

The bank’s efforts have resulted in a 20 percent reduction in cataract blindness in Pakistan.
