KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday unveiled the logo for the home series against England 2015-16 in the UAE at a hotel in Lahore in presence of Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan and representatives of all major sponsors.
“I must acknowledge loyal sponsors of Pakistan cricket have a contribution in keeping Pakistan cricket afloat. The bevy of sponsors you see here have been with us for the last several years. And PCB appreciates their corporate support,” Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan said on the occasion.
“The series against England is an important and competitive one against a team that has just reclaimed the Ashes. But I expect that Team Pakistan shall perform well enough to prevail over England,” he added.
Javed Afridi, CEO Haier, promised the group’s continued support to Pakistan cricket at every level. Ali Habib, Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing at UBL, said, “UBL has a history rich in supporting all sports, particularly cricket.”
Khawaja Atif Riaz Sikka, Director Brighto Paints, said his company has always played a vital role in promoting our national heroes and indigenous sport. “We will continue sponsoring Pakistan cricket, locally and internationally.”
