Goods worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in a bakery in the Gulshan Ravi area on Wednesday.
Cause of fire was said to be a short-circuit. Meanwhile, household items were burnt when fire broke out in a house in Phase 4, Defence. Fire erupted the house due to a short-circuit. On being informed, the firefighters rushed to the scenes and extinguished fire.
17 ARRESTED: City Division police carried out search operation and arrested 17 suspects from its jurisdiction. The police carried out operation in and around Railway Station and Data Darbar. Police rounded up 17 suspects who had failed to produce their identification papers for checking on demand.
