Man held in illegal kidney transplant case

LAHORE: Civil Lines police on Thursday arrested a man allegedly involved in illegal kidney transplant. Police led by Civil Lines SP Dost Muhammad conducted a raid on a clinic and arrested the accused, Zulfiqar. The accused was wanted by police for the last five years. The accused used to bring people to Lahore and sell out their kidneys for big amounts. The accused was also involved in many cases of bogus cheques worth Rs20 million.
