Police present DNA report of suicide attacker

RAWALPINDI. The police have presented DNA report of the suicide attacker before Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) Rawalpindi Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth on Monday.
The police have also presented upper jacket of the suicide attacker, his shoes, bullet shells and other evidence recovered from the attack site. Telephonic record between suicide bomber and four other arrested suspects was also presented in the court. During the hearing of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto murder case, statements of the complainant and investigation officer Kashif Riaz were recorded on Monday.
ATC Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth resumed hearing of the case in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, which was
subsequently adjourned till October
1. Statement of Mark Siegel will be recorded in the next hearing. Benazir Bhutto, twice elected prime minister of Pakistan, was assassinated in a gun and bomb attack while leaving a public rally in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007.
