Minor boy, man perish in road accidents

A minor boy died in a traffic accident near the Northern Bypass on Thursday. According to the Site Superhighway police, the boy was crushed to death by a speedy vehicle near his house. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The boy was identified as six-year-old Rashid, son of Ghulam.
The police said that the driver managed to speed away following the accident. Moreover, 25-year-old Nazeer, son of Jamal, was killed in a road accident in Landhi. Police said the man died on the spot after a speedy vehicle hit him. The driver managed to escape from the scene. The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
