Rawalpindi : On the directions of Station Commander and President of Cantonment Boards, Ijaz Qamar Kiani, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has set up Community Centre at Tench Bhatta with the purpose of creating awareness among people about coronavirus and to conduct tests.
Official spokesman, Qaisar Mahmood, said with the opening up of community centre, tests were conducted and found two people affected by corona virus. On conducting test, two persons including Zafar Rasheed Bhatti age 72 and a woman Rehmat Bibi age 55 were declared positive. They were immediately shifted to DHA hospital and were shifted in quarantine. Both these residents belong to Tench Bhatta.
The spokesman told that tests would be conducted on daily basis for which special staff has been deputed while taking all preventive measures.
