KARAK: District Nazim Umar Daraz Khattak on Monday asked the high-ups of the Education Department to ban transfer and posting in the department and constituted a committee to probe the hefty funds of conditional grant provided by the government for the provision of basic facilities in the state run schools.
The decision was taken at the first formal meeting of the district nazim with management officers of the Education Department. The management officers gave a detailed presentation to the district nazim about the condition of schools.
After the briefing, the district nazim asked the high-ups to ban the transfer and posting of teachers. He asked the officials to provide complete detail of the conditional grant meant for the provision of basic facilities in the schools and formed a committee to check the utilisation of huge funds.
Umar Daraz called for stopping the utilisation of the funds till the next order of the district government.
