Governor distributes relief goods

BARA: Governor Shah Farman on Friday distributed relief goods among the deserving people during his visit to Dogra and Bara areas in Khyber tribal district.

The relief goods were distributed among the poor people with the collaboration of Zalmi Foundation. The relief items included ghee, wheat flour, sugar and other necessary food items. The governor also visited the Dogra Hospital and handed over masks and other protective kits to the doctors and paramedics.

Peshawar Zalmi team owner Javed Afridi was also present on the occasion. Speaking in the occasion, the governor said that the government was committed to mitigating the sufferings of the poor people and they would not be left in the lurch. “He is taking all possible steps to facilitate the people in this critical situation despite meagre resources,” he added.

He thanked the Zalmi Foundation for helping the poor people at this critical time. He also urged the people to help the needy in their respective areas.
