Wasa to distribute bleach powder
Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has decided to distribute free–of-cost half kg packing of bleach powder in low-income areas of the provincial metropolis.
Wasa Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz said that Chinese government had gifted bleach powder to the agency for cleaning. He said half kg packing would be distributed among people at Wasa hand washing points in Ravi Town and Shalimar Town. People will mix water in the bleach powder and then clean floors, doors, handles and other things in their homes. On the other hand, Wasa continued to provide super hand sanitizer to the citizens free of cost in shape of chlorinated water at 20 points across the City.
The Wasa MD revealed that World Health Organization had appreciated Wasa's move of placing chlorinated water tankers in the City.
