Woman kills self

A mother of four children ended her life by taking poisonous pills in the Rang Mahal area on Wednesday.
The deceased woman was identified as Shabana, wife of Ishtiaq. It was reported that Shabana, who was married to Ishtiaq of Kasur 15 years back, had left his house a month back over the issue of domestic expenditures. Meanwhile, relatives made efforts and the couple reunited. On the day of the incident, Shabana and Ishtiaq had an exchange of hot words over the said issue. Later, the infuriated Shabana took poisonous pills, resulting into her death.
HIT TO DEATH: A 30-year-old man died after being hit by a train in the Kot Lakhpat area on Wednesday.The victim, yet to be identified, was crossing rail tracks when he came under the wheels of a moving train, resulting into his instant death.
